These images are derived from miniature liquor bottles, modelled and placed in a 3D environment to decorative effect. This commercial project is a good example of my skills in functional, aesthetic and technical design.
Created following the strongest possible attention to detail, these images showcase my work with 3D elements to create light, shadow and transparencies – key ingredients of a good photorealistic product render. Also employed in these images is the use of 3D modelling software and the latest advances in rendering engines, which allow for greater complexity in 3D images.
These images have been designed using the software Octane Render. This software permits rapid previsualization and the ability to work in real time. The current marketplace offers many software options focused on lighting and illumination, which can be used to similar effect.
Technically, the quality of these photorealistic renders is down to the punctilious manipulation of lighting parameters, with the aim of replicating the effect of light, and it’s corresponding contrast in shadows.
